Synopsis:
The novel, set in a fictinal world called the Four Lands, consists of two intertwining plotlines. The first plotline follows the quest of protagonists Wil Ohmsford and Amberle Elessedil to create a new Ellcrys, a magical tree that serves to banish all Demons from the Four Lands. To do this, they must locate a specific place in the Four Lands called Safehold, where the process of creating a new Ellcrys can begin. The second plotline focuses on the efforts of the Elven army and their allies to slow a massive Demon invasion, made possible by the dying of the current Ellcrys, to give Wil and Amberle enough time to complete their quest.
My opinion: ♥♥♥♥♥
I'm so in love with this book and also with the series which I'm watching this moment:D The characters like Will or Amberle. Even Cephalo changed himself from a bad person into a good. He saved Amberle, Eretrian, Will and the whole Arbolon. So the badest people often have also a good site but unfortunately it's often too late. The charaters are very nice described with the effect that it's easy to transform into them and comprehend their thoughts and reactions. First I thought that I wouldn't really like the story but my friend was so convinced by the story that I wanted to read it and she was definitely right. It's so captivating and thrilling. Nearly perfect. The things which happens are mostly unexpected so you won't stop reading. The end is emotionally. So the book has all the things a good book should have. You should definitely read it or watch the series.
P.S. the actors are so good-looking!!!
