Synopsis:
There are a few things Jeremy Marsh was sure he’d never do: he’d never leave New York City; never give his heart away after barely surviving one failed marriage; and never become a parent. Now Jeremy is living in the tiny town of Boone Creek, North Carolina, engaged to Lexie Darnell, the love of his life, and anticipating the start of their family. But just as his life seems to be settling into a blissful pattern, a mysterious and disturbing e-mail sets off a chain of events that will change the course of this young couple’s relationship. How well do we really know the ones we love? How do we handle the inevitable doubts, fears concerning parenthood, and stumbling blocks that are sometimes placed in our way? Continuing the story of the young couple introduced in Sparks’s bestselling True Believer, this novel captures all the heartbreak, tension, romance and surprises of those who are newly wed. An astonishing tale about the love between a man and a woman and between a parent and a child, At First Sight is about endings that bring new beginnings . . . tragedies that lead to unexpected joy . . . and, most of all, the magic of everlasting love.

My opinion: ♥♥♥
Nicholas Sparks is one of my fave authors. I love the way he writes and I don´t know how he makes you feel so many different emotions when you read one of his books. It´s so amazing that all you need for such emotions are a pen, a paper and the right words.
Let´s come to the book :D
It´s my first book by N. Sparks which is written in English and first I had fear that the book could be written in a kind of advanced English. But no guys it isn´t. It´s so easy to read even if you´re not the best in English like me :D And yeah. The book doesn´t get 5 points because it didn´t captivate me the whole time and there weren´t so much emotions in it. But the story itself was a very good one. But I missed the one big event. There wasn´t really one. So it wasn´t very exciting. When I read the Synopsis on the backside of the book I thought that something really big would happen. I read and read but it wasn´t there and so I´m a bit disappointed. The things which happened are in my opinion not so awful ones. Nothing dramatic. The best part of the book is definitely the end. I never expected something like that. But I missed the emotions :( It is such a sad end but I did´t cry not even one little tear. Maybe it´t my fault but yeah I can only tell you how it was when  I read it.
And that´s the other thong that disappointed me. I didn´t feel very much. I didn´t feel the love ore other feelings between Jeremy and Lexie. I think the book is to short and the feelings of the characters aren´t described perfect. Probably it´s because of the third person narrator. I don´t like that.
I wasn´t really in the book.

Yeah I think this two things are the most important of a book. I want to feel like I´m the main character. I want to feel what they feel. I want to see the things like they see them. I think y´all know what I mean and  I want a very good story, too One with highs and lows and unexpected events. One where I don´t wanna stop reading because I want to know what happens next. One which I am completely captured by.

But all in all was the book a good one which you should read if you like love stories! :)
